Why should I order from GetFish?
At GetFish, we’re passionate about seafood delivery and we can spot quality from a mile away! Our aim is to give people easy access to the seafood they know and love, with the added flexibility of fast delivery and a wide range of produce.
Where does your seafood come from?
All GetFish seafood is sourced from the Sydney Fish Market. We make sure your seafood is always fresh and comes from a highly reputable source so you’ll always be satisfied with your order.
What’s the latest time I can place an order?
We know how important it can be to have delicious, fresh seafood delivered to your door as soon as possible, so we make sure our delivery times are as flexible as possible!

Order before 2pm for next day delivery.

Can I order in advance?
Yes – you can order from GetFish up to 10 days in advance.

What if a product I want isn’t available?
At GetFish, this generally doesn’t happen, but in the event that a product you’re after isn’t available, simply contact us and we’ll try our best to have the product available as soon as possible.
How do you set your pricing?
GetFish’s product pricing is based on the fluctuations in the seafood market. We set our prices based on seasonal changes to give you the best possible price every time.
Why don’t you charge by the kilo for your fish?
Some GetFish products are available by the kilo, but we want to be able to sell our products in a way that’s convenient for everyone. The average consumer doesn’t know how much a whole fish might weigh, so the team at GetFish has taken the guesswork out to make ordering as easy as possible. It’s also worth noting that we charge based on the minimum weight of a fish; for example, if your whole fish weighs more than the listed amount, you won’t be charged extra.

How do I know when my order is on its way?
When you place an order with GetFish, you’ll receive a text message when your delivery is on its way. You can also track your order in real time with the link provided in the text.
What if I am not home when my delivery arrives?
All GetFish deliveries need to be signed for when they’re delivered. If you’re not home when your delivery arrives, we’ll give you a call and give you instructions to receive your order. The GetFish team make sure your order arrives fresh and on time. We’ll pack your delivery with ice to maintain optimum freshness.
If by chance you receive your order offsite- then we will require photo identification in order to ship out your seafood
Are your trucks refrigerated?
All GetFish delivery trucks are refrigerated to ensure that orders are kept under temperature control.
Do you re-collect the packaging that my order arrived in?
No, you are free to keep the cooler bags and packaging that your order arrives in!
Our cooler bags are reusable, so you can make the most out them. We’ve also chosen to use environmentally-friendly packaging instead of styrofoam to do our bit for the environment. However, if you’d like to return your bags, you’re free to do that as well.

What is the delivery charge?
The standard delivery charge is $11.99.
Delivery charge in regional areas depends on the region. It is calculated after adding your postcode.
Free delivery for orders over $150.
What if I am not happy with the seafood you sent me?
At GetFish, we really do pride ourselves in our quality and fresh seafood, however, if you’re unsatisfied with your order in any way, we are happy to refund you and return the product. Our drivers will confirm your order and take you through the products on arrival, so you can let us know as soon as you have an issue and an return can be arranged on the spot.
Once an order has been delivered and accepted, it means that you are fully satisfied with it.
